Gotta abandon analytics and get tough, hard-nosed athletes.
This cannot be blamed solely on no Butler.
I will be watching halftime and entire second half on mute. Don’t care if what dykes and Greenberg are saying is true or not the glee they do it with is nauseating
This is just awful. Of course we lack talent. And yes we have terrible injuries.

That goes for the whole team, unfortunately.
I can get just being outgunned. Whatever. But it doesn’t take being more talented to FIGHT on every defensive possession.

These guys look like they have never played together before. It's like they have zero idea what their teammate is going to do. As bad as the defense it the offense looks just as bad or worse.

worst performance so far this year, along with osu. robinson totally disengaged on defense, nobody can guard anybody off the dribble, uncontested 3’s

Zone defense is one of the first defenses kids learn. This team appears to be incapable of playing zone. They act like they have no idea how to rotate with the movement of the ball. It is time for Pope to stop being a nice guy.

The opponent 3 point shooting is a red herring. Our opponents have been taking a ton all year long. We beat UT thanks to a run of good luck. Our comebacks against Duke and Gonzaga featured cold shooting from 3. We’ve had bad luck there in the last two games. It’s not the problem. It exasperates our holes.
Our issues involve everything around that. We apply no pressure. We can’t force any turnovers. The opponent is free to generate a quality shot every single possession. There’s no pressure, no point. We don’t defend like a unit. It’s the same issues we had at the tail end of the Cal era.
I’ve never turned a game off before the last minute before. I’ve kind of worn that as a badge of honor. That might change tonight. I am beyond frustrated. They gave up that half. Just frigging folded. So disappointed.
After tonight’s loss. I-4 the last 5 games!!! The season is going south quick!
