Every player in the world has games where they don't give the effort the could. People just notice it with UK guys because they don't watch every single game that other teams play. Williams has been one of our most important players this season. There's nothing you can say about his effort that you can't say about anyone else on the team, but it still seems like he's singled out more.
Those games should be the exception and not the norm. I can honestly say that there have been more games when he didn't show effort than when he did. Tonight, he has played hard and well.

Oweh making threes are few and far between. That’s not his strong suit. Pope has to live with it as Oweh is one of his better drivers of the ball.

Assuming next year's team is similar to this one, as I don't think Pope is going to change his approach, does the seat get warm at all? Does Mitch start looking at other coaches for down the road? I'd feel a lot better if the guys just busted their tails on both ends of the court, and both halves of a game, but they don't.

24 assists/1 turnover for Ole Miss.

That is RIDICULOUS!!!!

We have a HUGE problem that is going to be exploited from here on out. Unless Butler returns, we are going to be on the bubble!!! What kind of Guards does South Carolina have? If they can get into the paint, we're going to have to make EVERY shot to win again!!!

Mitch shouldn't have a say. I'm surprised he is still around after the lawsuits going around from the swim team debacle.

Mitch may give him a 5 year extension this year.

Coach Pope got put in the position of having to go to the Derby with a string of Mules. Give him a chance to recruit some Thoroughbreds. Damn guys, we are expecting a miracle.
The problem is we are playing with mule money. I keep saying that but no one wants to hear it. Guys were not coming to play for Cal because they were getting the biggest checks.

Him and pitino both would still beat pope because they know defense.
It’s a myth that Tubby teams played defense.

He played zone that he called ball line. He stalled on offense to keep the scores low.

It’s like saying UVA played good defense under Barnett.

Guess who Tubby’s mentor was.

Barnett’s daddy.

lol ok but that has zero bearing on what is happening right

Because Brea let himself lag behind his guy on the screen unnecessarily. That forced Garrison to pick him up. Garrison can’t be up on him because the little guy would have blown by for a layup. Garrison reacts too slow but that was on Brea’s *** being too lazy to get through the screen.
Brea could sit the rest of the season and I would be bothered one bit
