Am I the only one that thinks the reporting of cases should be more granular in nature? I am not saying we need names and addresses of people, but cities should be shared.

Counties are large. I live in Northern KY and across our 3 top counties there are 72 cases. I think 18 in my county.

Why are they not sharing specific cities?

I think this would impact the situation and keep more people in their homes.

First is HIPAA. By law they are restricted from revealing A LOT about a patient.

Second, it would be inaccurate. At this point the virus is everywhere. Andy has said for a long time now that it's everywhere. If that doesn't keep people in their homes.......

Does HIPPA protect a city being released? Again, not names...not looking to shame someone as there is nothing to be shamed for.

I know what Andy says, you do too. However I think having city name would ring truer to those who aren't listening...possibly.

I'm not 100% sure if cities count or not. Although Andy has called out some cities/counties. Last night he mentioned about the church revival in Hopkins Co that was responsible to spreading the virus to Hopkins, Muhlenberg, etc.

But the virus is everywhere. The testing/confirmed cases are well delayed behind the virus.

Doesn't even matter KY, and the rest of USA, is so far behind on testing the numbers truly don't represent much. Just expect 70-80% of America to get this by the time were all said and done, unless they pull a vaccine out of their *** faster than expected.

Kentucky counties aren’t big outside of a couple in EKY. We have 120 counties for 4.5 Million citizens, and 10 of those 120 counties (give or take) make up about Half of that.

Just stay home.

I can make a case as to why he shouldn't give the city/county information. If you live in Harlan Co. and hear that there are only 5 cases in the tri-county area, you might be inclined to relax the SD and gather about town.

Because the testing is so far behind, giving people any incentive to loosen restrictions is not a good idea.

Local government in Harlan Co has took steps to prevent gatherings and such. Only 1 member of each family
Is allowed in a store at a time. Took goals down at parks. But, people aren’t staying in

Are the bridges crossing into Ohio closed in N Ky? The bridges crossing into Illinois in W KY are still open as usual.

Lol, you are asking what's with people in NKY when people amin other parts of the state are gathering in churches and having corona parties?

I dunno. I have been out like a handful of times in 2 weeks...have old parents and little kids.

They probably should give some exemption for those counties.

Was referring , wasn't there a state lawmaker in that area wanting businesses to sue the state.

Is it like a heavy Tea Party area?

Hope your parent's stay safe, in the same boat with family that have repository problems.

They put a 1 person per shopping cart order in a store I went to today.
Still there was a mom with a kid in her cart and had like an 8yr old pushing another cart with another sibling.

That is sad but in some instances maybe it is all they can do?

We started click list this week. We have a 7, 4 and 1 y/o. They have not left our house outside of car rides and to play in yard/drive since 15th. Same with my wife...she has hardly gone anywhere.

It is unreal.

I've not tried any the pickup services. May be the better way to go.

Perhaps i'm a germo-phobe. Got dry and can goods in a tote in the garage to "quarantine". Stuff that had to be refrigerated or frozen I wiped off with soapy water.

Praying this isn't the new norm.
