I had the right philosophy but the wrong horse. I threw out Gamine and exacta boxed Swiss Skydiver and the 3rd and 5th choices. Turns out I should have used the 4th choice.

I was on Swiss. No clue why he shifted outside rather than taking the rail when gammine drifted.

NBC more interested in talking about race than THE race. I've flipped over twice and both times they were rambling on about the Taylor shooting. Shut. The. ****. Up.
Had $20 on 18 to win. Had a super 18,17,16,9. Damn. Had a bunch of losers too. Ended up $240 up for the day. If Sarenghetti Empress had won I would be one happy man.
I am not sure Gamine ran out of gas. If you watch the final furlong it looks like she took a bad step and lost all of her momentum. Maybe it happened because she got tired but she definitely took a bad step with about a furling to go.
Authentic ran the perfect race. The only race this horse has lost he had a terrible start almost tripping out of the gate.
