Thomas joins a loaded group of south Florida talent on Kentucky's commit list. An impressive haul for area recruiter Eddie Gran.

The cast also includes defensive end Jordan Wright (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Dillard), defensive end Christopher Whittaker(Hollywood, Fla./Chaminade-Madonna), offensive lineman Sebastien Dolcine (Miramar, Fla.), wide receiver Joshua Ali(Hollywood, Fla./Chaminade-Madonna), defensive back Michael Nesbitt (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Boyd-Anderson) and defensive back Cedrick Dort (West Palm Beach, Fla./Dwyer).

Thomas will enroll early in January.

UK has no one else like him right now. I guess Timmons is the closest but this kid is just an animal even before he catches the ball. He'll just laugh at most corners trying to jam him at the LOS and outquick the safeties and after he catches it he's like the Tasmanian Devil. And he's a vicious blocker as well. .

Thomas is a candidate to play right away. Kids 5"11 210 pounds and quick. He will be a serious match up problem for backers and safeties
