I thought Garrison would improve a lot this year. Looks like the same ‘ol Garrison thus far. Good play followed by a boneheaded play. And he still can’t make a FT.
JQ would have been nice to have this game.
Gotta stop trailing their shooters off screens 28 gt from the basket, that’s what they want us to do. Going to have to go under and have the big put a hand up if they pull from that far.
Need to play with a little more urgency, did at end of the half but gotta come out to start 2nd that way. Put Aberdeen on brown and let Mo as well, OO mixed on him too but someone needs to take guarding him personally and get in his stuff this half.

We can win this game if we come out of half with a different mindset.
If we play like that we will get embarrassed the second half too.
Right now this game means more to them and it shows.

I credit him with improvement at finishing. I think he has finished on more lobs this year already than he did all last season.
Yea, every really good team has a guy who can go get buckets when they need it. We don’t have that. Oweh isn’t that, nor should Pope push him to be that.
We played like crap and ate their lead so quick when they finally settled down. Pope is really good at half time adjustments. I think Cats pull ahead 2nd half. It’s really hard for a team to play 40 mins on emotion like UL is doing.
Losing to Louisville is so embarrassing. There on such a lower standard than us that it should be the equivalent of playing EKU every year. Just amazing how they can compete with a 22 million dollar roster.

I know they said that Pope wanted Oweh to come back and take and make more 3s but really I wish Oweh would focus attention on not turning the ball over.

Look, I HATE Cal and really like Pope but being likable doesn’t win titles. I’d let the coach spit on me and kick me in the nuts before every game if he won a title.

Pope always has great changes at the half. That was my only gripe on him last year. He always seemed to make good changes at the half (maybe after he sees stats?) I wish he could do more changes like that in the first half.

I turned it off when we went down 18. Maybe I’ll turn it back on, not sure. But did OO suck the entire first half, or just until I turned it off? My God man.
