We missed several shots down in the paint. I wish our bigs would take it up strong with both hands and either dunk or put it off the glass. They try to finesse it with one handed shots at the basket. USE THE GLASS!!
I've said it many times. We do not have a post offense other than lobs, which are being taken away. We do not penetrate and dish, and even when we do, our bigs finish very poorly. Our bigs are VERY limited offensively and if they don't improve I see no way we win the title.
Offensive scheming is not Cal's forte. Fortunately, elite players can make up the difference with talent.

The formula to beat KY is simple, pack in the d, hack away at the UK offensive player when he does catch it in the post, and dare UK to move the ball around the perimeter and shoot 3's.

The funny thing is if we made it to the Final Four...I think teams like Duke would play us man up man to man....but we are going to face a lot of zone before then.
Interior passing has been nonexistent the past two games. It was one of our biggest strengths to start the year and now it has disappeared. We had ONE interior pass basket. This is an area where Alex would help. Particularly with receiving the interior pass.
