We need it for funding other sports, tremendous revenue in SEC FB, that said, we are absolutely irrelevant and will lose any stand out player off this roster, there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell CB stays. I’m sure he’ll want to, though Stoops is an inept fool that is incapable of surrounding him with the necessary talent and building out a complete team. One can see what’s in the realm of possibilities when you look at what Franklin did at Vandy, what’s happening at Indiana, etc., the Stoops era has ended, he’s merely here in presence holding the university hostage with his ridiculous contract.

It’s been proven over and over, that if you hire the right coach, you can quickly get into the 12 team playoffs. Look at Indiana, Georgia Tech, and Vanderbilt. It just takes good hires. Indiana and Georgia Tech are locks to get in this season, and Vandy is probably going to get in also.

ACC should be a 1 bid league. Georgia tech doesn't play anyone good all season and shouldn't get in if they finish 11 and 2 and lose to uga and say Miami n acc title game to finish season.

I'm not putting 11 and 2 acc team n over a 10 and 2 sec team.

Your point overall I agree with. Vandy needs to beat Texas or UT on road to get in but 10 and 2 vandy is in IMO.

Yeah, if Vandy beats Texas in Austin, I think they have a great chance to get in. That would be remarkable.

I would never say that the Lair is an internet cesspool, but I would say that fans like you are a cesspool. Never understood UK fans that despise the fact that we have the greatest college basketball program in history. Let me guess you root against the Cats in basketball and it makes you mad they are so great?
No, but you sound like an arrogant putz who likes to rub it in peoples faces.

Rafters sucks. Point blank.
"We have". I graduated from Uzi. The basketball history is great. We have a lot of basketball fans who suck @SS. Two things can be true at the same time.

Dude, I am a realist and said that I am done watching football until Stoops is gone. I was all set to also not watch basketball last year when it was announced Calipari was coming back, thankfully Calipari left. You are the one on here talking bad about UK fans because they support the basketball team also. I stand behind my statement about you.

Like I said in my post that you quoted, I was not going to watch any basketball games when it was announced that Calipari was coming back. I was tired of having top recruits that couldn't shoot, losing games we shouldn't lose, hearing Cal's excuses and then having to hear about him making a "tweak" and then us losing in the 1st round.

OP doesn't seem to understand the economics of college sports. Yeah, let's drop the cash cow and pay our other athletes with beans. Great idea.

Well, the only dropping that has happened is when your mother dropped you on your head and now we all have to put up with your retardation.

I’d like to see UK make a great hire like Vandy and Indiana has. They didn’t use the past as an excuse and went out and got the job done to turn their programs around. Kentucky needs to hire Stein or Hartline and I believe things can turn around quick.

Bring in Stein and with the work he has done with the offense at Oregon he would instantly bring in top players in the portal and maximize the talent that we have on our roster now. If he turns UK down they should go after Hartline. Get that Ohio pipeline back to UK and he is one of the best receiver recruiters/developers in all of college football. I’d be happy with either of those two because I really think they could build a solid program here.

No, UK just needs to move to the ACC. Better fit.
No.
Why so you can get a false sense of joy...this current team cant compete in that league either except their bottom feeders.

It's not a better fit anyway, we're a founding SEC member and the acc isnt even good at basketball anymore outside of a couple teams

Yet the SEC sucked for decades in basketball.
