Don't even start that **** guy. This is whole heartedly on Pope and his stupid as **** game planning. The guys were obviously not ready, just like numerous other lackadaisical games they played. Pope talks that big **** like he understands the assignment but my eyes say otherwise.

Pope won the fan base over with nostalgia. Dreams of what happened back then. He's great at coaching against ranked teams, but he can't get it done against the small fish. The nostalgia is wearing out quickly. Bouncing back and forth between big wins and terrible losses won't accomplish a thing.

It wasn’t a good night for Pope. Should have played junk defenses all night against them to insure the win. But he seemed resigned to trying to man them. Been a fun year so far with a patchwork team and I expect more fun times. Sure don’t miss Cal and the lack of discipline his teams always have. Even showed up tonight in a huge win for them.The "fans" are out in full force. Loses suck but not as bad as some of you on this board.

Act like Ark didn't play out of their minds. Avg 60 and 3-4 3s a game. Its the Kentucky effect. But I'm not gonna be miserable with all you tonight. We will be playing longer than Ark and that's all that matters at the end of the day.

I’m with you. I’m far more tolerant this season. Honestly, I’ll forgive anything this season. Still, I am not lowering my standards. It’s fair to say this game was an absolute disaster and a disappointment.
Any person with a modicum of competitive sport playing/officiating experience should’ve known that bump on a deadball is a spark on dry kindling.

Robinson Almonor and Garrison all gave us not a lot from what I saw. Brea too. Too bad. That was painful.
Continuing to pull Amari up high just stagnates the offense. I watched the UT game over and over. 2nd half especially and Amari even when he brought the ball up quickly got it to a wing and often went low, That was very effective. Tonight Amari was super effective down low but up high the offense just doesn’t flow. Often at 12 seconds on shot clock and Amari holding the ball. Amari was at his best down low.
Refusing to TRY TO adjust to penetration was unbelieveable. May not have worked but TRY. It looked like Pope coached Arkansas tonight and old Cal was back on our bench.

They were doing whatever they wanted. We don’t match up with them athletically. I would have tried a zone because I know how Calipari teams struggle with it and I’ve watched this Arkansas team struggle with it too. I like Pope but he did a bad job tonight. It is what it is

Garrison can be good, but he's still a project at this point. Brea is just not great when he's not making threes.
This can't fly under Pope's tenure. He has to win these games he should win. If not, he won't last long. I really want him to last long.

I hope we drop our seeding for the tournament. We need to only play high seeded teams. The idea of us getting a 4/12 matchup is terrifying.

We may very well lose in the first round or 2nd round this year, if we make the tournament. We just haven't got a clue how to motivate this team unless they're playing a ranked team. It may not be fixable. Maybe it's something Coach Pope will struggle with in the future as well. Maybe it's just this team.

It does not seem like it is a work in progress to me. I don't think any work is being done on defense. Hard to imagine any coach would put a defensive product on the court as bad as we are. I'm now not convinced that this team could guard 5 fence post that are set in concrete.

It was a team loss...bad coaching moves, bad play, bad execution. Wish it hadn't happened but it did.
For me, I'm 45 years too old to play and not near smart enough to coach.
