It sure seems like Duke is a lot more physical on defense than we're allowed to be.

No it’s not. Fouls are 9-4. They’re gonna be in the bonus for 10 minutes. We probably won’t be in bonus this half. Game has been played the same physically on both ends. One team is getting the whistle.
I'm not going to be hard on the team. The refs know who they want to win. Duke being physical and getting called half as much while we are getting phantom calls against us. Hopefully we can keep it close. Need to do better on getting open and not forcing super long 3's.
Yep... the Cats have definitely not played perfect on offense, but the lead changed due to multiple calls going Duke's way...

At this point the officiating is heavily tilted in Duke's favor.

Dukes extended their defense and taking us out of our perimeter rotations where we get out open looks. Got to start driving by somebody to start a different rotation kicking it out for our threes . If not they win

I keep forgetting that it's gonna take time for Pope to REALLY get his roster.. but still.. this just feels like we're watching an opponent that looked like early Cal teams, just faster stronger and taller. We honestly looked like a mid major the last 5 minutes.

Duke is being allowed to muscle up on Kentucky without fouls being called.
Dukes D is rock solid so far , doing a good job of p[ushing us out , and out and out , We need someone to draw a double down low , but we dont have it . Gonna have to set rock solid screens and or attack with the dribble . We are so guard heavy , dont have enough muscle
