I've seen people saying players suck among other things. We just need to cheer these guys on this year and watch them improve as the season goes on. This isn't a title contender and anyone that expected it to be after what the roster looked like at the start was delusional. They can be a good tournament team. Just sit back and enjoy the improvement as they learn to play together as the season goes on.

It's easy to play defense when your opponent doesn't move the ball well. Butler needs to remove his head from his *** and realize that he has to start the offense, not be it. Move the ball.

We are terrible with covering up defensively. If they beat us then the off side help is just not much good. A step late and six inch vertical deficit.

Would be nice to see some screens to free some guys up, guys cutting to the rim. And I cringe when I see the offense being run through Williams. Looks too similar to the last 10 years.
I think we are seeing what time in a system really means. Both teams play alot alike. Duke has there system in place for 2y prior. This is UKs first.. Our guy are thinking instead of playing. If we could keep every player, and redid this game in a year, it would be a diffrent game. Almost what I expected... Just surprised at Robinson and Breas no show.
We need a big forward slasher line Flagg and Kneupple. They’re getting in the paint and to the rim at will.
Here’s the thing Duke has more talent but talent doesn’t win every game by itself , gotta make Duke uncomfortable somehow maybe we can maybe we can’t

Yeah we need to run our offense, way to much one on one swinging the ball and quick shots, get in the paint a little.

Exactly. It’s far too easy for some to point the finger at someone else. Getting torched because we can’t keep the ball out of the lane and our best players have pulled complete no shows.

Agree 100 percent. Theres no confidence on the defensive end. If they havnt played zone to this point , I don't think it's coming. Gonna have to rain the 3s
Sadly Brea isn’t doing much better. Neither guy looks capable of getting their own shots. What’s really cay is that I have no idea who we go to when we need buckets. Like if we’re in a close game late, I don’t think we have anyone who can just go get points.
They keep talking about our players haven’t played together. Neither has Duke’s. Heck they start mostly freshmen. Guess talent is better than experience.
We got these kids back. We will learn about our coach here in the second half. We played terrible, some to do to duke defense and some cause we rushed shots/missed.
If Duke plays D like this consistently they are the best team, especially after watching the current #1 ranked Kansas Jayhawks tonight.

Only guy that I've seen just kinda suck is Butler. But I'm not gonna harp on him for it. We just need to play like we have a damn brain. Every UK fan is sick and tired of seeing us play stupid. We've had too many games of that.

This game is over. Complete mismatch. If you can't play defense and get turnovers, this mickey mouse 3 ball operation won't work. You also have to be able to take it to the hole.
If Duke plays D like this all year, no one will stop them, and they will have a very real shot to go 40-0. And if they do, I may hang this sport up forever.
