The roster construction this year was really baffling to me. How do you neglect shooters & PGs (ball handlers) when your entire system is based around perimeter shooting & ball movement?! No excuse for entering the season with one legit PG. Especially, coming off a season with a perpetually injured PG that seriously limited last year’s ceiling. He went overboard on defense/athleticism, yet we still suck in both regards.
This is all Mitch Barnhart’s fault and doing.
Jelevich has had 4 (FOUR) wide open looks from three and missed them all. I thought he was at least a 30% 3/pt shooter.
Pope has been saying that some guys aren’t following the script … seems like now it’s got the whole team hesitant and overthinking.

Also don’t look now, but vanderbilt is really good this year. As it stands. UK might be the worst team in the SEC.
Year 3 under Pope had better be a top team or there will be a new coach in year 4. I really hope he turns it around but this year is just going to suck.

We’ve apparently decided to not run an offense, when we try there’s no movement. Just pure laziness man, sad as hell.
