I remember that season where Tubby Smith's Wildcats started 4-4. At least in most of those losses, Smith's Cats were competitive and had a chance to win three of those games. They also ended up finishing 23-10, and were even 23-8 at one point.

But this team has quit on Pope. This is horrific.

Worst half of basketball offensively I have seen in a couple of decades. Pretty obvious what we ate trying to do isn't working yet we keep doing it. I'm not sure our coach knows what to do at this point.

This is really disheartening. Last year’s team was the first time in years that I breathed and sweated Kentucky basketball. This is a huge letdown and dose of reality. Pope cannot coach on the big stage and recruit elite players

I have no idea what is going on but they aren't playing hard. They haven't since Louisville. They haven't played team ball at all - the moment things go bad, assists stop and we do one pass and whoever gets the pass shoots the ball.

You know Pope isn't teaching that, but its not limited to one guy, its so many guys he has to play them, and they just don't care.
