I agree, I don’t care to see this team come out and run end to end and not play basketball.

Hey, it just took 3 possession of being wide open and jumping up and down but someone finally passed our best spot shooter the ball. lol. Team is so selfish.
A lot of the Gen Z youngsters on here will laugh and won't get it, but he was the next man up for one of the blue bloods at one point. Just a really good ball coach. I'm convinced losing to UK stole his mojo the same way losing to Wisconsin stole Cal's.
Well, remember this feeling. Use it to stop writing patronizing posts telling fans how they should "do their part" like the one you did when you posted about Williams talking about the team and how the fan criticism is getting to them.
We are doing our part. We show up at these games. We contribute nil. We travel around the country. We cheer on good effort. We have always done our part. People like you need to stop telling us how to fan. It's complete and utter bull and it needs to get called out more often.
Even last year at times we looked completely uncompetitive. This is that just without the good 3 point shooters lol.
Apathy has been getting worse and worse in Kentucky for basketball, especially since Covid. But I think anger is starting to take over from fans refusing to allow this BS to continue for any longer. Last season wasn’t as good as people remember. For every great win was an even worse loss. We got blown out by Alabama in the SEC tournament and then got blown out by Tennessee in the Sweet 16. It’s hard to forget those baffling losses.
Realistically do we even bring anyone back from this roster? Everybody looks absolutely miserable.
Maybe it gets so bad we can end this nightmare fast.
I legit think I could get 5 guys from a church league to chuck 50 shots from half court and make that many
30 points. No words can actually describe how pissed I am.

True. I still think not all is lost and we can catch fire in conference. But that is very hopeful.
Pope will be looking deep into the portal, desperately trying to nab uninterested players with a smaller NIL than this year because boosters aren’t going to support a loser who lost their money the previous season.

I’m trying to be a good fan. That’s all, just like you are. You don’t have to take anything I say with anything more than a grain of salt. Yes, I think fan behavior matters. I encourage fellow fans to consider that because I don’t want the program to suffer. You’re taking your frustration out on me for the loss, but I’m just a fan. It’s kind of like how you got mad that we are losing games so you starting mocking the coach’s religion. We are all angry, dude. Doesn’t mean we need to be a negative recruiting tool. If that bothers you, ignore me. I’m gonna be true to my beliefs.
Never in a million years did I think I would give up on a Kentucky basketball team in December.
