This team really has no excuse. At least you could partially blame 2020 on lack of preparation. Even Gillespies teams played with more heart and for the jerse though they were poorly lead.

Clyde’s teams would at least fight your a$$. They, for the most part, embodied his west Texas toughness.
He and Oweh were the only players we have that go handle the ball under pressure and neither of them is without a few turnovers. Everybody on the team, besides them, is out of their league against this kind of defensive pressure. I am thankful we did not play Houston.

I would assume that Pope has forgotten more than I’ll ever know about basketball,
but I could see that Iowa State made adjustments, they started using full court pressure and trapping.
On the other hand, I have seen no adjustment on UK. Just standing around no movement and dribble dribble dribble.
