Oh what do you mean? It’s just because of injuries. It’s nothing to do with the fact we arent even screening or back cutting anymore.
18 points first 8 minutes, then 12 points over the last 12. Getting punked on both ends.
Horrible half by Pope. Bad lineups, no adjustments and poor game plan. Our D was really good and kept us in it.
I like these kids out there, but they are horribly coached I feel bad for them, there just seems to be no direction.
They’re allowed to hack and grab on defense. It’s insane. We could never play defense like that because we wouldn’t be allowed

And then they compound it with the laziest turnovers. Act like they've never seen a trap before or they never dribbled against pressure. Or a new one is stand out of bounds when you have a clear dunk.
And ISU played mediocre and missed a ton of 3's so there's that...
ISU is fundamentally sound. UK players have zero ******* court awareness.
We should be up 10, instead, we turn the ball over 12 times and don't get rebounds.
They are putting huge pressure on the ball, why aren’t we cutting to the basket?
Hard to win when they don't get called for any fouls. 13-3 free throws. It's one of the more one sided games I've seen in a while

What a disaster to end the half you are up 7 pts with a couple mins left and you go into the half down 1
You play great D for most of the half but you make some dumb turnovers over and over and over
12 freaking turnovers
Then at the end you make like 3 straight turnovers to end the half and instead of getting a 2 for 1 with 59 secs left you turn it over twice and get a 0 for 2.
Iowa State without their best player and it don't matter.

This team looks like they have NEVER been coached. This is about as piss poor performance I’ve seen in one half of Kentucky basketball. Are we just going to lay down? Looks like it.
They never started calling them, in this case. Their entire team should have fouled out and yet...crickets.
This team is so poorly coached. It’s easy to beat this overly aggressive defense that is being thrown at us but pope has no clue how to position his players to attack. They are all out there clueless AF turning the ball over left and right.
We don't get to shoot free throws. That wouldn't be fair
Their defensive strategy is the same every trip down court. I don't know why Pope isn't making adjustments.
15 FTs to 3 with the way they are hacking is disgraceful. No tech on the kicked ball is a damn joke. Call this game straight and we are up 8 to 10 right now
Pope should be fired simply for the crap he’s putting on the court. I’m sorry, Lowe doesn’t fix the problem that Kentucky looks scared as crap to handle the ball. Flat out embarrassing product. Dudes look like a jv team out there trying to dribble and pass the ball.
Pope did a horrible job putting this team together.
He put all of our ball handling hopes into one player, and then that guy gets hurt.
You would think with all the issues last season from an injury level, or goofy camp counselor of a coach would have prepared more and invested in another point guard instead of wasting cash on Jelavic and Jasper.
Rapidly becoming one of my least favorite UK players. I've seen toddlers that are less soft than him.
Honestly, that was a TERRIBLE half by Pope. No other way to describe it.
To be down 1 with 12 turnovers is an accomplishment. Id feel better about it if we didnt have an 11 pt lead previously.

Hate to ***** about refs but damn, they are holding and hacking at will with no calls. Unreal. And our dumb players constantly pick up the dribble and no.one will attack the rim.
Just so predictable on offense leads to so many problems. I hate forcing the high post. And why do our guards believe they have to pick up their dribble almost as soon as crossing mid-court?
I think we need more talented bigs to do this. It's not a strength of the players we have, clearly.
And the least talented. We have no big men or a second guard who can safely handle the ball. IS is pressuring the hell out of us and we’re playing TIMID.
Pope is not the answer but come on, these UK players continually shoot themselves in the foot. MM is so soft and weak.
Key to the game - value the ball. We are playing so loose with. Cut the stupid turnovers in half and we're up 5 or 6.
Perhaps if we quit throwing the damn ball away and resume cutting to the basket like the first 10 minutes?
