Chandler loves to dribble into the corner.
This isn’t the first time…. Some with JJ …. Plus our bigs holding the ball too long … our guards need to move faster …..but IS players are holding and bumping on cuts with no calls so the slow them down….

if you want to advance we need to play against refs and this IS style of “ playin”…

pope needs to help too but so far he destroyed our mommntum….

10 turnovers on a half…. Is wat too many….

we made 6 3s of 13 tries which is probably what the game plan from IS…

we are not going to shoot so hot… and they will probably shoot better….

second half is go8mg to be tough if Pope doesn’t start coaching

Referees are letting them mug us on these double teams on the perimeter. We blow on them they call a foul. We sucked at the end but the refs sucked equally as bad. And how is that basketball being kicked into the stands not a technical. Please explain that to me.
That isn't even up for debate. That one is a technical. The fact the refs CHOSE to ignore such an obvious, by the book call should tell you how this game will continue to be reffed.

Announcers said it all right there. If we keep turning the ball over then double digit loss inbound.

He's getting out coached. If Iowa State makes a few more threes, we're down 7 instead of 1.

Very fortunate to be in this game.

I'm at the point where every one of these guys can walk after the season. I see no potential in any of them outside of being 6th or 7th men in the rotation. That goes for Mo, Chandler, Moreno - all of them.
If Iowa St. didn't shoot 12 more free throws than us, we're up 30-23.

I’m with Special K…I think this is close to a 20 point loss at the end. They are up in our crap and we don’t seem prepared to do anything about it. No adjustments. It’s the aTm all over again. Just against a much better team.

We have got to stop giving the ball to our bigs at the top of the key. These guys are not Andrew Carr or Amari Williams. Put it in Aberdeen and Owehs hands and live and die with it. I cringe every time I see Garrison get the ball 30 feet away from the basket.

since chandler cant dribble and get by anyone.....gets hung up and its another turnover.
This
15 to 3 free throw attempts for Iowa State. Ridiculous.
They are much much aggressive than us , the aggressor gets the benefit
Chandler is worthlelss from a ball handling standpoint,
He is worthless for many phases of the game ,, there is no way he should come back .. he can’t get open or dribble !!!
These turnovers reveal how immensely soft UK is against good pressure.
We are Charmin city .. I’m totally furious

We need to issue rape whistles the second half. Iowa State reminds me of those Louisville teams that fouled you 100 times a game knowing the refs can’t call them all. Chandler was getting murdered.

There are more than one way to look at this:

1. Iowa State shot 3/16 on threes and is ahead by a point after Kentucky blew an 11 point lead.
2. Kentucky is down only one point at halftime after committing 12 turnovers in the first half.

Look, Iowa St. is known for forcing turnovers so that was always going to be a problem.
The blown lead? We were never going to blow them out.
But Kentucky has sucked in the first half and been strong in the second half all year; cut down on the turnovers and Kentucky has a great chance to win this one.

UK committed so many unforced error. If anybody is bringing the ball up besides DA, then Pope should be fired on the spot. CC is scared to death. Oweh has to show up. This game is NOT for MM. Too soft and slow. Mo should have been playing over Jel.

DA, Oweh, CC Mo and BG need to start the second half. Kam should come in if a guard needs a blow Jelly should relieve Mo and BG. I don't want to see Moreno at all and I sure as Hell don't need to see Jasper. There is no excuse for either of them to see the court

Mark Pope coaches soft teams.
He did not play for a soft coach.
He did not play on soft teams.
He himself was not a soft player.
I do not understand it.

Where did he learn these weak *** tendencies?
Pope's not built for this. It's as simple as that.

Even Pitino had to chastize Pope because Mark was crying to the media about his mental issues earlier this year.

It's pathetic to watch what a soft head coach Kentucky has now.
