It's like watching your parent get remarried to a person you know is bad for them. You can only sit there and watch and bite your tongue, knowing you're going to have to endure.
Our program is in horrible hands. I'm sick of people treating the UK coaching job like it's a Make a Wish job just because Pope is a decent guy.

Boys this isn’t hard. There’s is one thing an one thing only that changed this game an it’s simply Iowa St extending the defense on the ball to pressure our guys into turnovers…simple as that.
and all we have to do to fix it is space the floor (forget the high ball screen and open the floor) and start attacking off the dribble and make them pay for that pressure.
Instead we’re still trying to run offense 30 feet from the basket and vs king up on the dribble like pure scared victims

Cool, more leeway for yelling and naughty words. Pope needs to force a change and not sit back. These refs are like some kids. You have to yell sometimes to kick them in to gear.

Iowa St. player made a turnover and kicked the ball out of bounds in frustration. Immediately made me think of the Kentucky Aussie a few years ago that got a technical foul for bouncing the ball high in celebration.
Well how about why they're shooting bad? Instead of our defense throwing them off their game on threes, they say it's because they're missing their best player.

He could good couple of years, but american ball is too physical and faster. Not huge fan of bringing international players and having them start right away.

I really don’t want to hear how smart pope is or how good of a coach he is. He’s a dumb MF first and foremost as he hasn’t learned a damn thing about his team all year long. Same dumbass sub patterns over and over and he can’t coach for ****. Any coach worth their salt would have solved this half court trapping defense we are facing after two possessions but we haven’t done jack **** but hope we don’t turn the ball over.

ISU won't continue to shoot so poorly in the 2nd half. Maybe we can stop turning it over at an alarming rate to balance that out.
Imagine if ISU met Duke and bodied them up like this. ISU would run out of kids
It seems like every Jasper cameo over the last month has been a complete trainwreck.

their defense is covering that too. they watched film and know we dont have a PG, and no one we have left is quick and strong with the ball. they are pressuring whoever comes across halfcourt with the ball, and they always pick up their dribble. from that point they are cutting off passing lanes. even if we manage to get into the tired dribble handoff set with a center, they're ready for that too. most teams even in the SEC have played passively against us, even Florida. This reminds me of the Arkansas game last year, they see our deficiency and are exploiting it.

Listen I am ready to move on from pope. But the refs called four fouls in a row on nothing when we got up. It changed the game. Guy kicked the ball into the stands and gets to apologize for it. On pace for a 30-6 ft discrepancy. Cmon.
We ball watch on offense, nobody even tries to get into rebounding position.
Two times rebounds slipped out of our hands and they got 3's out of them.
I don’t know if Lowe the answer at PG next year. This is the kind of game we are really missing him. Ball handling is really hurting us against this pressure.
