Hjelle may be done for the night. UK has action in bullpen. No reason to tax your ace this early in the season.

Hjelle back on mound to start the 8th. Has thrown 84 pitches. That’s close to max you’d like to see this early. Think they’ll see if he can get thru a quick inning.
It will be interesting to see the box score. Nick Mingione says OF Tristan Pompey has a sprained ankle, will likely miss remainder of this weekend series, then get re-evaluated. Nobody thinks it’s serious.
Must be between 2000 and 3000 on the deck. Might be a little less than that, but I don't believe I have ever seen so many students at a baseball game.
