If anyone thought we were winning that game down Carr, Butler and Kriisa, they were lying. No shame in thinking we had no chance, I sure didn't.

Goes to show you just the type of talent Pope is. I'm pretty sure two junior high kids snuck onto the floor for UK and we still beat a fully strength top10 Tennessee team on the road.

Tenn reminded me of a cal team! Can't shoot. Tighten down the driving lanes and things get difficult! I don't see them being ranked as high as they are.

This team is a sum of its parts. One man goes down another steps up and fills the equation. That’s why system ball equals Ws instead freelancing street ball that most top recruits like to play today. Blessed to have Pope on our side

Taking better care of the ball.

I don't really care if our defense never gets to top50/60 in the nation, because I just don't think we have the team for that (and certainly not when we have 3 maybe 4 guys injured).

But you have to fix the top3. Have to be better there.

Thanks in some part to Ziegler missing shot after shot from 3. (Most if them wide open)
But, we played hard and made some big threes from Robinson. Almonar, Brea and Noah.

And, as I said very early in the game.. you can always count on Tennessee to just be woeful on offense at times. Some of this win was simply on Rick Barnes once again having a team that just cant score for long stretches.

Pope made adjustments. We lose this game with Cal.

I'm so glad we got this win. Those orange bastards would've been insufferable.

Absolutely. That's what is holding us back. We all have bad shooting nights. It's winning in other ways that counts.
