Without Berry, UK should blow them out. With Berry, UK should still win by 10. To me, the thing with UNC is that they have been a very flaky team the last few years with Roy. Sometimes the effort, intensity, and toughness is there and sometimes it isn't. It varies game to game and even within games. UNC has plenty of talent, but will it show up. Also, I think Roy really needs superior depth and talent with the system he runs. Sometime he has the former this year, but he rarely will have the latter this year against good teams.

If UNC wins, it will be a very big, although early, statement of UK's young talent.

I was just kidding, but you sure are sensitive. Don't worry, I won't make any comments to you anymore. I don't discuss topics too much with middle schoolers. Good day.

Your resident Tar Heel fan says U.K. has the deeper bench and if Fox and Monk can't be guarded, UNC is in trouble.

If however, Berry plays an excellent game and we feed our bigs, I like our chances. Defense, and the ability for Meeks and Hicks to stay out of foul trouble will be key factors. I think Jackson is going to need to play solid as well.

Well unx won't have homecourt advantage. It's always like a neutral site with their wine and cheese wussy blue sweater vest wearing fans.

No you weren't. If every post directed towards me from you wasn't negative, I'd believe that. You were trying to be a sneaky little drama queen and I called you on it. Good Night.

The reason I said they won't be different in March than what they are now is because Meeks Hicks and jackson are the same players now that they have been the last few years. Amile and Kennard are actually much better players now than what they were previous . Kennard is actually getting a first round grade now. So he is becoming a better player. My point is I don't see the development with unc players. If we are healthy we are better at every position on the floor against them.

Giles vs Meeks advantage duke. Giles has to be healthy so that's a wait and see

Amile vs Hicks advantage duke

Tatum vs jackson advantage duke
Kennard vs bitt/ Williams advantage duke

Allen vs berry advantage duke even though berry is a very good player and the one unc guy that I like a very good college point guard

Berry and Jackson are greatly improved. You're blind if you don't see that. And how did this turn into Duke vs. UNC?

If UNC has to lean on Meeks for big minutes I say U.K. Has the advantage but if the other bigs for the holes step up and Meeks is merely a role player the Holes have a chance. UK is young but good around and in the paint. Can't stand Calipari and U.K. But I hate the other side more. Unfortunately for me I have graduates from both sides so Family get together will suck either way this Christmas.

I think Justin Jackson will need to summon his Maui Invitational self for the Heels to win. Obviously a healthy and productive Berry is most important for the Heels, but Jackson playing well isn't far behind.

Agreed. Our own experts (the ones not named Gary and Dave) say that Jackson playing more aggressively and with more determination is key to our success this season. It will also likely be a difference maker today.

UK should win by double digits unless jackson gets hot from 3 which will make it a single digit win. Berry is just coming back from injury and will struggle with UK's press and athleticism. UNC will have double digit losses by the end of the season and this is likely one of them.

Stop eating paint chips.

Berry is greatly improved I will agree. I still think jackson is up and down especially against good teams. Like I said I like berry but don't trust the rest of their team.

You should just live post here instead if THR, 34. You'll probably have more fun.

Think Berry would struggle on the defensive end even if he had not been hurt.He was not the defensive stopper that the great guru Gary proclaimed him to be

If UNC only played six or seven guys they'd have a chance. Britt and Maye just give them nothing against a team as talented as UK....but Roy will play those two through hell and high water.

Having just tuned in, it doesn't look like defense is a priority in this game.

I feel like UK is playing very well and should be up more than six. Just don't feel Monk can keep up this pace. If I'm a Heels fan I like where they're at right now, all things considered.
