This start is exactly why Kentucky won’t make any type of run. Zero defense at all. The best damn player for vandy has space to get shots off, and Williams is 5 feet off his guy.

So our gameplan after a week off is to leave dudes wide open from 3 and play Perry instead of Butler? What?

Amari not being able to create his own shot is killing the offense. There's little need to really guard him. That's why he's able to get away with 3 foot dribbles.

Butler is sitting because he doesn't currently seem to want to look for his teammates. He's not good at driving to the basket.

Edwards is the best player they have. So naturally Kentucky lets him get going and shoot open shots

I wish we could make guarding the 3 a priority. But for some reason, we are just absolutely not gonna do it. This late in the season, I don’t expect to change. It is what it is.
