Second worse team in the conference playing at UK on Super Tuesday after the Cats have had two straight OT games. It's going to be ugly.

^^^^ LOL, I think the OP is on some good medication. If we win by 7 or 8 that will be a rout !

I have told my wife the last two games that they were going to be UK routs. I will not be making that statement anymore this year.

Yeah we could play as bad as we did today and win that one by 15 as Mizzou is HORRIBLE . People act like we have played bad for weeks we had one bad game .Ole miss was a good game we just played D bad for a 10 minute stretch in the first half but we played well. WE have played bad 2 times this season - Columbia and today. So what . UK 79 Mizzou 43

A nice win works for me. A big rout and getting a big head is not what this team needs heading to Alabama.

Yeah, Missouri is just awful. They beat LSU and had OK ST beat (who beat Texas today). This is the kind of talk I hope our players do not hear. More of our fans setting themselves up for anger on Tuesday if it is not a blowout win.

Don't get me wrong either. A blow out of Mizzou means nothing in-terms of getting the team back on track and it doesn't mean they will start taking care of business. However, the situation is just that BAD for Mizzou. To boot, their team sucks.

Lay off the guy. Ole Miss and AM both in top 65 RPI. Mizzou? 143 and in Rupp. It will not be close.
I'm already thinking about Bama.

who cares that they beat LSU who still hasnt learned to deal with success . Ok st sucks and Texas has played bad with Taylor back ( go figure) . it is a good win ( LSU ) but lets look at thier losses
Lose by 8 to UMKC -

lose by 19 to Zona

Lose by 21 to average Purdue

Lose by 19 to OU

lose by 18 to Xavier

lose by 3 to Illini

Lose by 2 to Ok st

Sorry if you are 7-7 at this point you suck . They don't have 3 or 4 losses like Ole miss or even Texas A & M they have 7. Big big difference . teams at 7-7 will have to fight to get an NIT bid . Teams with 3 losses have to fight to get a tourney bid. they get blown out in 4 of the 7 losses . WE destroy them . I do agree i dont want the UK players to see these scores as they won't respect them but then again if we played Mizzou today and played as bad as we did we still would of won by 15 .

We've played 3 OT's the last two games. I can't say my confidence is at an all time high right now. Until we regain even a small portion of our high quality play from a couple weeks ago I won't count anyone out, no matter what their RPI/BPI is. When are people going to learn, we get EVERYONE'S best shot EVERY game. There are no games off for us because we are the measuring stick that everyone is compared to. Hopefully our team is starting to realize this.

They may very well blow Missouri out, but didn't people say we'd blow Texas A&M out after we nearly lost to Ole Miss?

Don't get me wrong I think we DO win big on Tuesday, but it's I think it's faulty logic to assume so because we nearly lost two games in a row lol

we have 4 games in conference where we will win by an average of 25-30 IMO .

Miss St ( BPI - 175 )
Auburn ( BPI -138)
and both Mizzou games ( BPI 142)

as while the SEC is much improved those 3 teams just are awful .

They have shown me 13 times this season so i am confident. We played bad against Columbia and today , alot of over reaction on this board but i sorta understand since even the UL game was 3 weeks ago so out sight out of mind . But we have the best team easily in the country , 2 out of 15 games doesn't change that.

I thought they would dismantle Ole Miss and Texas A&M. My confidence in this team is diminishing quickly. I never thought I would witness our bigs getting owned this year. The supposed freaking tweak is not working.

Sorry, I am venting. I am not happy with the performance today

I don't know what has happened to this team but they don't look very good right now. Our offense is awful and for whatever reason our defense has regressed. We should never struggle against teams like Ole Miss and A&M. Our bigs right now are a non factor, even when they get the ball deep into the paint they either get blocked or miss a layup.
Hopefully Cal rights the ship but I won't be surprised if it's a 5 point game with 2 minutes to go Tuesday night.

No way were we going to dismantle Ole miss . I thought we would win by 10 but they came to play.Today i thought we would win by 24 but we just played one of the 5 worst games Cal has been a part of here at UK IMO. It happens . Ole miss will be a tourney team or damn close . A & M won't but they will be in the hunt ( on the bubble ) so the difference between them and teams like Mizzou or Auburn ( who beat Mizzou tonight) is huge.

I agree, a lot of fans fail to realize that when you get into conference play games become tighter. All SEC teams will play their best game against UK because UK is like Cal say "everyone's super bow". I don't think we will see any blowout's during SEC play.

If the Cats had lost, you may be onto something. Truthfully, I know very little about Mizz and the Cats may very well win by 15 but no reason to think that after the past 2 games.

I'm with you Prez. It's really impressive how quickly deep-seated doubt slips into the minds of so many fans. Have we forgotten how last year's team turned it around in the blink of an eye? If that team could do it, it sure seems like this team will.

Cane, you csn make yourself feel better by saying Ole Miss is a tournament team all you want but they will not be in the tournament, they only play hard for a select few games. Nevertheless, we should have destroyed them, we have dismantled much better teams.
As far as A&M, when all is said and done they may not even qualify for the NIT, their RPI is in the 60's (according to this thread, I haven't looked for myself) but they won't get the easy buckets they got in the 1st half yesterday because other teams, even bad teams, will shut them down and for whatever reason we allowed their zone to bully us but watch the rest of their games, that won't be the case.
We just don't have it right now for some reason, it's okay to admit that.
