Amoore missed a point blank shot as time expired, season over 
Absolutely embarrassing coaching and execution to let Poindexter continue to get wide open looks from 3 in overtime. Literally the ONE player you can’t let beat you. It’s like nothing was discussed in timeouts.
Still don't understand how Amoore doesn't get the shot at the end of regulation.
Wow couldn't ask for a much better look to win the game, just didn't fall. I'm sure that's going to sting for a while for Amoore. Sad to see the season end that way but the future looks VERY bright for UK Hoops

Not sure I've ever seen anything dumber than the way we let Poindexter get opn 3s. Dumbest coaching/player execution possible. The girl hit 8 3s and we kept helping off of her to defend the post.
After someone makes, I dunno, 5 threes, you figure you have a no help face guard initiative on them. And yet....
Anything other than any guard trying to drive into three people taller than her under the basket would have been good. Sad ending to a good season.

Crazy how open she was and she made us pay with 8 3 ‘s.
We also missed WIDE OPEN looks in our home gym. Hate it but we had our chances and gave it away. Do t think we e could have stayed within 20 of USC anyway. Great first year for this coach and program.

We wouldn't have beaten USC in the next round anyway, but still a heartbreaking way to lose (your best player misses a gimme).
They should have NEVER helped off Poindexter. I have no idea what the defensive game plan was.
Georgia is fantastic (and so is Clara) but this team really overachieved. Absolutely zero depth but won some big game (although not against the top opponents).
Coach Brooks is a fantastic coach and they will only be better (and hopefully deeper) in the future with some more talent.

She was like Scott Padgett against KU 1999 NCAA. She was amazing.

I was saying the same thing. National Coach of The Year? They almost lost the previous game because of his “coaching”. Maybe he’s not used to the intense pressure of March Madness. I’m glad he’s our coach as he’s a great recruiter, but I’d like to see more strategy (and execution by the players) in game. Maybe I’m asking for too much. UK Women lost that game in so many ways.
Hope we have a serviceable point guard next year as Amore won’t be here to lead the offense.

I thought when they got the ball down1 with 18 seconds left in OT they were too quick pulling the trigger. Thought they should have worked for a better shot.Seen it coming all game! We blew the best chance we’ve had in a long time. We choked the game away 3 chances in the last few seconds and lost.
Agree, Lawrence took it inside and had nowhere to go with it and lost. Good point, I s thought the same thing. Why didn’t we run some clock, then the shortest player on the floor takes it inside.
Can we please stop losing to Kansas State in tournament games? Across men's and women's this is what, three straight losses to them in the NCAAT?
