Kentucky's zone defense

Was glad to see Cal use a zone a couple times in the 2nd half yesterday. Doesn't hurt to switch up every now and then, just to keep the other team guessing. With UK's size advantage they should go with it a little bit every game.

I agree that we should be a good zone team, and we don't look too bad in it. But I think our man defense is so good that it doesn't make sense to stray from it. Force them into our shot-blockers rather than forcing them into outside shots.

Sorry but it did not look good as they were poor at pressuring whomever had the ball. About the only time S.C. hit a 3 was against the zone. They need to practice it more

The second time it sure as hell hurt us. But I would like to see Cal use it a little more just to screw up a good offense.

This^ If UK could employ the zone the way Duke did against Louisville, it would be a huge weapon in the NCAA tournament

Almost comical.

Coach Cal already realized we won, so he decided to try out different defense in game. USC got owneddddd
