Heard today from one of the managers that Kriisa is Playing well as are butler and robinson, but then he said everybody really is playing well all of them. the t b t date Not determined yet

Really surprised no one is complaing about Pope talking about the NBA draft.
He also talks about the players coaching each other, which is awesome, but something people complained about Cal teaching. I hope I'm around long enough to see Mark Pope win a title, because I think it will happen.

Nobody minds pope talking about draft night or trying to get his players drafted. What we care about is a coach that completely throws seasons in the trash and recruits / coaches solely because of it. See Bobby Hurley he does both. A coach at a blue blood that says winning titles is not the goal but the having the most players at draft night is cannot coach at Kentucky. If that’s something you’re looking for Fayetteville Arkansas is a good place for you to start.
Then of course, Calipari backed it up with absolutely horrendous coaching and created lineups not with the best team in mind but who he promised to get drafted. Again if this is what you’re looking for head on over to Hog sports it’ll all be there.
Not important, but why does everyone call Jaxson Robinson, Jackson ? People do it as if his last name is Jackson. Even if addressing him by first name it is wrong. it is Jaxson, not Jackson. Addressed Butler (not Burton) by his last name, but address Robinson by his first name (Jaxson). Weird. And confusing as hell.
The whole era of spelling Jackson 100 different ways is annoying enough in itslef.. it’s horrible
When you’re coaching a little league team with a bunch of Jackson’s spelled differently. That whole era of parents thinking they’re being clever by spelling the same name wrong (when every other house in their neighborhood is doing it) uuggghh. No offense to anyone here who did it of course.
Not sure what the psychology is of some players labeled by first or last name. Maybe it’s just how the first few wrote it and it followed the same, maybe it depends on which one is shorter. Haven’t thought about it before. Then we’ve got Dave who constantly says the wrong name and here we are lol.
It's one thing talking about upper class men going in the draft. It's entirely another to hype draft status of a freshman before they ever play a minute of college ball.
Everyone called rob “rob” or “Dilly”. Sheppard was often referred to as Reed or Shep.
Sometimes the first name flows better. Robinson is a 3 syllable name. Jaxson flows better. Wouldn’t b surprised to see JRob pop up
Yes? Use google maps you’ll be able to find it easily. When you get there, you should find a lot of information on the draft and all of Cals recruiting awards and pitches will be there. I’ll chill with Pope, he encourages players to play for their university first then their professional goals. He’s a coach as opposed to a salesman.
Perfect explanation. It's the same reason a Greek NBA superstar always gets called by his first name...
