He came to UK thinking that he would win the starting position, and when he didn’t, voila, broken foot!

Now, he loves UK and Pope so much for letting him rehab and get an extra year, that he’s leaving for one last starting spot on another team!

Not quite Pope’s version or Shaedon Sharpe, but if this situation never arises again, it will be too soon!

Yea I don’t get how all these kids stay eligible. My son transferred this past year and it was a pain to get schools to work in the credits and he is an accounting major so he had very standard pre req and business classes.

Further for these kids moving around so much that have no shot at pro sports, who is going to hire someone who jumps ship constantly?

Im not at all against the portal but the 4 schools in 4 years of some of these guys is crazy.

Its why they should just drop the student part and keep only the athlete. At least it would be honest.

As Expected. I still think Garrison might enter.
Garrison is definitely a huge question for him and us. I’m not sure I want him back at all.

But the reason he might want to enter for his biggest payday is due to an incredibly weak portal center class and that makes it tricky for us too. As there aren’t many great options. Locking down Gwath in the next 48 or 72 hours would help immensely.

he would have played 17-20 minutes a game this season had he not gotten hurt....speaking of which, they should send him a bill for medical treatment since he is bailing on them
For sure. Like when you get injured on the job at work and then they send you a bill.

Oh wait. That’s absolutely never how it works.

So you think he faked an injury and took the rest of the year off because he wasn’t the starter.

I’ve never thought Kriisa was any good as a player, but i wouldn’t say he faked his injury so he wouldn’t have to play.
never any good? he had 34 assists in 156 minutes of play... Travis Perry had 18 in 301 minutes.....so what does that say about him?

No problem with Kerr or him leaving.

Would like to see some rule changes so a healthy player isn’t incentivized to remain out for another eligible season. Maybe the 5 years to play 4 thing or whatever would take care of a lot of it.

Lamont being out, playing with one arm, or TP being overwhelmed all could’ve benefitted if Kerr played the end of the season like I’m convinced he was more than capable of doing.

Hate hate hate gets old after a while. Blame it on NIL , not the player. I hope he goes and plays for Pitino.

That was my thought as well. Thought he could've returned if he had any heart. Some players have returned quicker from worse, iirc

If he had faked an injury he’d have been a fool to stay out when we were on our 4th and 5th pf’s this season.

Come on guys. Kriisa didn't fake a broken foot. Good luck to him and hopefully he gets back up to speed again. It is a shame that he didn't stick around here at least until he saw more of the roster. We need an experienced starter at the 1.

Crazy how ppl are creating a revisionist history of Kerr purely based around starting the season in a shooting slump below his career average.

We were a significantly better team with him backing up Butler, pushing pace, etc. the ball movement was phenomenal at the beginning of the season. Kerr was the perfect change of pace guard to come of the bench and be relentless with space and pace

We all witnessed the play were something clearly went wrong. This wasn’t a closed door practice injury that could open the door for doubt and conspiracy.

Maybe he could have gotten back for the last month of the season. At that point, wanting a full season as your final cbb season vs 3 weeks isn’t a testimony against his character. He was clearly still emotionally involved and supportive of his teammates. He was dealt a bad hand this year and pre JRob being ruled out for the year, many would have said it was best he didn’t come back and risk ruining chemistry/rotations

My guess St. John's. Wouldn't be surprised by Indiana, Texas, Creighton, or back to Arizona.

Just hope he doesn't go to a rival/SEC school. That will dramatically impact his standing with BBN.
I'd hope he does--that will be one less team to be concerned about-he'll be exposed for what he actually is and not what he acts like.

Think he'd be an ideal Tennessee Volunteer. Bravado, sucks in the NCAA Tournament, gets lauded for things that have little to do with the sport of basketball.

Yeah, for sure... I mean, who doesn't just plan to break their foot in middle of a game b/c they lost the starting role??? And after, I mean, such a great cover that he was excited and cheering on teammates, and even help coach the young guys up so he looks better in the portal when he enters a few months after the injury.

Such a mastermind, that Kerr.

I liked Kerr and wish him the best wherever he goes. No animosity for him at all but I do wonder about someone who has already transferred so many times and doing it once again.

Dude was a spark plug for the team. We lost more than just a backup when he went down. Hope he does well. I do have to wonder if the staff is concerned about his injury going forward, however.

Nah.
I've had the same injury.
Had he returned he couldn't have performed even to the level of Perry.
Let's not act like he was really good before the injury.
