Almost sounds believable, but not in this case. Uninterested players don't get thrown out of a game on a routine play by mashing a qb flagrantly.

Vincent Valentine and Maliek Collins showed unbelievable improvement their rookie year in the NFL. Nate Gerry stuck with the Eagles as a safety his rookie year. That was a real surprise considering uninterested would be a good description of his senior year at NU. The twins haven't butted heads with the big dogs yet, so they may have been doing their best.

VV took time off, no doubt there, but those big bodies need to have snap counts, who knows if that was happening? All your guys but a few need snap counts, even backers. If those snap counts weren't being done, the players know, and just seeing guys calling their own numbers and not hurt is a bad look. A bad look for the staff.
Ask former players under TO, all were on snap counts. Khalil obviously wasn't,we had depth at D line, but he's the real deal. So is Carlos, and hope there's time to get his body right so he can shine, he sacrificed playing at maximum weight.
