I’m impressed how BL won’t apologize. They are down 25% and all they have to do is say we’re sorry that a) we hired an underage looking tranny and b) we insulted a core portion of our customers (frat guys). Do this and the money comes back.

They could, however:
1) some on the right believe apologizing is a weakness and people in society act childish now so if an apology was issued, far right goofs like "General" Ben Shapiro who believe they're in a societal war would tweet "Hold the Line!" and urge his followers to never "give in."
2) I don't know how frat guys lean politically but my guess is they just want to get drunk the cheapest way possible. Frat guys wouldn't give a **** if they saw Elton John on a can giving a reach-around to Freddy Mercury's ghost as long as it's a cheap product that helps them stay buzzed.
3) that "core portion" of frat guys probably aren't focused on this now, months later. This was a thing in society in the spring and early summer. Maybe you know frats better than I, but ask any young twentysomething male tomorrow about this situation and let me know their response.
It was a dumb business decision and now they're trying to rectify the situation. But suggesting they need to apologize to the "fk your feelings" crowd who already admitted their beer was "piss water" and who practically orgasmed to years of mean tweets...I mean, come on. Clearly the anger and boycotts worked here, but I've yet to see a male walk past a Bud Light display and pretend the cans have trans cooties.
