Kidney Stones . . .

That can mean multiple things, where did yours get removed from? Had one removed from the lining of my bladder about 10 years ago and that was a top 3 terrible experience of my life.
Mine was in the left kidney. 6mm. They left a stent in going from the kidney down to the bladder and it won't be removed until Monday.
I'm not sure what the procedure was called as I was hopped up on morphine for 12 hours before the procedure. It was the camera/scope up the business end and then lasered and a week with the stent to keep it open and draining.
I’ve had 6. My last was 9-10mm and was busted up with Lithotripsy.
I have tried to incorporate drinking organic lemons in my water, less salt and nuts, no spinach, trying to get my protein from more sources than just meat....etc
I’m to the point I will absolutely not go to emergency room with them anymore. This last one I was in sooooo much pain for a week I finally gave in and went there. A ct scan and some medication.....$8,000+.
So far none since January but I usually only averaged 1 every 1-2 years. Hoping this is helping.

My father in law drinks a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every morning in his OJ. Swears it’s why he’s never had a stone.
I used to drink that stuff religiously. Didn’t seem to help but plenty of supposed health benefits from doing it
Ooooh boy. Anyone that has had a kidney stone certainly understands. I had a stone, which I passed while in the ER (grrrr), while I was there they said "hey you have one in your left kidney". Went to the Urologist and his xray confirmed the CT scan and he said he could go up and grab it...just like CowboyPhil said...I thought "well I'll be asleep and I can pick the time...win win". So they do the procedure and guess what...it was just a bunch of debris close together...but not a stone. They flushed and put a stint in me because I have an extremely small ueter...to help stretch in case of future stones. Let me tell you, while I had that stint in I was miserable...had it a week. Because today is Monday, most likely they have now removed your's but on a scale of 1-10 when they removed my stint....it was a 13!!! They didn't put me to sleep for that "little" procedure. Curious as to how you did.
Just got home. Doc said this will be a "little uncomfortable."

OMG they stick something through the pein hole. Holy **** man. God Bless.
That's not the bad part, it's the waking up with a piece of hard plastic jabbing parts up inside you that you didn't know you have. For a week.
I drank two bottles of ACV after reading this thread. Man I feel for you guys that go through this. Terrible
My mom got kidney stones when I was in 5th grade. I remember her saying she had 4 kids, but delivering us was nothing compared to the pain of kidney stones.
Then I got them while in law school. I was in so much pain it was all I could do to crawl to the toilet and throw up from the pain. Had to pee those suckers out with the help of a lot of cranberry juice. By far, the most painful experience of my life.

I remember when I was a kid my grandpa going outside, grabbing a branch of a small tree, and just standing there for a while. Eventually he’d come back in the house and put, what I now know were kidney stones, a few of them in a mason jar. It was almost half full of the sharp little things.
