Kidney update.

I've been waiting a couple of months to post this. Most of you know I was to have kidney reconstruction surgery at Duke Medical. After going through several PNC exchanges (tubes going through my back into my kidney) I went down to Duke Medical on June 16th to have a set of x-rays taken and meet with my surgeon to determine when was the best time to schedule surgery which I was wanting to get it over but not looking forward to it. My surgeon showed me the x-rays and pointed out that my kidney was now clear. No scar tissue or blockage. Clear as it could be. Take in mind that I saw the original set of x-rays and clearing saw the problems. I ask him to explain why and he said he could not explain it. He did say he wanted to wait a little while to make sure. I went down yesterday to have x-rays taken and they confirmed all was well. They took the last tube out and I am on the road to discovery. I am a Christian and know without a doubt that this happened because of the great Duke Medical staff, prayer, faith and the will Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I want to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes and positive thoughts. You are my great friends even though I have only met just a few. May you all be blessed as I. Thank you all Phiilip. Thanks gotta. While I was at Duke Medical yesterday my thoughts were with you and wondered how you are doing. I haven't forgotten about you and my prayers go out to you also. OFC

Awesome news sky. Truly happy for you man. Continue down that road to a full recovery buddy. Appreciate the updates for sure.

As someone whose wife is now in her 14th year of dealing with kidney cancer, that is so great to hear! God is so good!

Sky I go back to Duke on the 13th of Sept. Then the doctors want to confer and come up with a new plan for me as my latest treatment hasn't been working very well. Every day is an adventure.
