I wish I knew how to post a screen grab, but for those of you who haven't rewatched the game 10 times so far, check out Cam in the huddle after he hit the shot and Purdue called timeout. Looked like a psycho killer yelling "One more stop!!" while Pikiell was actually still talking. Great.

Joining a team with guys like Caleb and Paul who have been through the wars at RU and are strong personalities, I thought Cam had been hesitant to fully unleash himself offensively so far this year. He has taken what he has been given but also passed up some shots that I'd like a sharpshooter to take. This was his coming out party and he proved to everyone what he can do. This is a great development - for an offensively challenged team, he is hugely important to take care of business the rest of the way.

Cam is cold blooded. One of the most impressive things yesterday was the team wasn't rattled at all by the environment. They actually played better the more the crowd got into it.

I loved Geo and Harper, but sometimes their body language wasn't great when things didn't go their way last year especially in the road. McConnell and Paul just seem to be unphased and locked it no matter what. They're the leaders. The whole team seems to mimic their style. Love it.

When you think about it, the team has played their best road basketball at Purdue and TOSU, both of which had lively crowds. The team did not play as well at the morgues that were Mohegan Sun and Miami. They thrive under pressure which bodes well for the rest of the season.
