I got northeastern on a down year
Give me Kinston in a high-scoring affair. They're peaking at the right time, and my crystal ball says they'll be heading to Tiger land next week for all the marbles in the East. My prop bet: Copper gets 3 all-purpose TDs Friday 
Wouldn't be the first time i've been wrong, but I agree with you. I think Kinston is playing much better than they were earlier in the season. It will be a good one... It's hard playing at northeastern High School especially when it's very cold, those boys are used to it. I think the highest will be 49° outside Friday. They are getting hot at the right time.

Northeastern is big game tested. They have the big game experience. But I think Kinston takes this one. NE is down this year by the standard set from the past few years, and Kinston definitely has the talent.

Earlier this year we played Wilson Prep and probably had a state record in penalties. The officials in the game could have been 1A officials. (do they have 1A, 2A, 3A so on??) The game was played at our place West Craven. Every time we put a kid in motion a flag would fly. I was on the end zone camera that night and never saw movement. At the half the coach had a discussion with a ref but must not have gotten things squared. Motion and a penalty unless the tight end got in a 3point stance. They complained and later got an apology that the officials were in error. We won but the score was closer than it ever should have been. If the chain crew got in the officials way it would be a penalty. I believe I have seen that before. Just a couple of weeks ago Roanoke Rapids got a 1st down but had a personal foul after the whistle. So they mark off 15 yards. The guy with the down marker walks back to the new line of scrimmage and then the chain crew ( our chain crew) is told to reset on the new line of scrimmage. So it was a 1st and 10 just 15 yds further back instead of a 1st and 25 which I firmly believe it was supposed to be. In either case I can assure these refs were not in our pocket cause we were the home team. People just make mistakes.
If there's one team I dislike more than Kinston, it's Northeastern lol. I do believe that Kinston will outscore Northeastern, with both teams scoring 40+.

Looks like it may have been an anomaly but Kinston was thuggy when that came to Whiteville last year, we've played NE two years up there in the past couple of years and did not see that kind of play. Based on what I've seen it appears to me Kinston may come out of top at NE tonight, though.
