According to @verbalcommits on Twitter, former NU target, Kipper Nichols, who had enrolled at Tulane, has reopened his commitment. If NU has a scholarship available, I wonder if there would still be mutual interest there?
I'm pretty sure he'd have to sit out a year, because he had been attending Tulane, but he should still have all four years of eligibility left.

Hard to imagine since they are going hard after justin smith. Feels like too many wing players. They've got such a great core of athletes, now its time to up the ante with standout specialists like falzon and tough to recruit positions like a dominant big man.

I had been visiting Verbal Commit's Tulane page since he committed and couldn't understand why they were a couple scholarships OVER for 2015 deep into the summer. This explains part of that.

Unless the NU coaches and players know him extremely well it could be a risk to bring him in at this late date. He could do it academically with classes starting yesterday though.

I would think the NCAA would not make him sit out a year anywhere.

I have my ears out locally (Cleveland area) to try and find out, Heard nothing yet.
