Knicks Hire Walt Perrin

The Knicks are hiring Walt Perrin, who was an assistant at NU for 13 seasons under Tex Winter and Rick Falk, to be their assistant general manager. Perrin has been the head of scouting for the Utah Jazz for many years and is highly respected in the industry. Perrin was also a member of the 1968 Evanston state championship team, where he played with the Bob Lackey, the "Black Swan."

Thanks for posting. Perrin sure gets around, and even for me as a rival New Trier grad, it's good to see an Evanston boy doing well.
