Idk what to think. Tmz and other smaller outlets say it's true but the big networks are silent. I pray its not true. Kobe maybe wasn't the coolest guy ever, but is an icon with a young family.

Agree. Wouldn’t ride in a small plane also.
Could not pay me enough to do either right now.

Have a brand-new vehicle I'm trusting less and less by the day, too. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the 'control' the "driver" has over any new vehicle is nothing more than an illusion. The ECU on this thing looks like a damned briefcase. Lol, why? What's it doing? Do I believe the push-button starter is going to kill the engine or the electronic e-brake would actually stop forward movement with the press of yet another button if the thing starts redlining at 90mph on the interstate? No, Sir, I do not.

Kobe Bryant was the reason I loved basketball so much. That man was my GOAT. I’d watch him play constantly and watch tapes of him all the time. Kobe had a game that was unparalleled. I literally named my fish after him as a child. RIP 8.... you’ll never be forgotten.

This sucks. The Kobe and Shaq era were during a time I really wasn't all that into the NBA but he and Shaq transcended basketball. RIP, Mamba.

Also, if you're a new reporting service that reported speculation as fact, your twitter account should be shut down.

I haven't heard anything saying that. It was reported before that his wife and kids weren't believed to be on board. Unless something has changed and new information is out.

Did I post anything? No, i actually said i was so shocked that i wasn't gonna do it. But I'm not gonna knock somebody else for doing what always happens on the paddock. Presidents and Popes aren't off-limits so neither is Kobe.
You do you.

I can't see the person complaining and I'm not going to bring them back to read what they've said. Can't start picking and choosing who gets lampooned.

edit: I removed it in case one of his kids was on board.

I know this is a huge shock to all of us because we're all huge sports fans and he's such an icon but this is a RIP thread on The Paddock, that's what we do.

That is true. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. When Neil Pert died no one respected that thread. And I found his death just as tragic, if not more, than Kobe.

Sure. A father of 4 died at 41 with his oldest daughter and her teammate and the first thought is to post a joke picture. Stay classy paddock.
