I won't get my hopes up but you never know. Stoops can offer a starting spot on the dl and he has shown he can get dlinemen to the nfl. crazier things have happened! Big Z was a big time juco 4* and that worked out well for everyone!

He just got an offer from USC(the real one) which is apprently the offer he's been waiting for.

Hope it's us, though.

I am not predicting him anywhere, but have heard UK is a player for him. If he comes south its between UK and Bama or that is what I heard, but I don't know if he is coming south. Heard USC, Oregon and Washington are the players on the other side.

Tennessee's recruiting class is really looking a bit pedestrian. They've now dropped to 26th. UK is currently 21. In the past 2 years they have dominated the state of Tennessee, but this year they only have 4 of the top 25 recruits in the state. Compare that to 8 of the top 30 in 2015 (including 2 5 stars), and 10 of the top 20 in 2014 (including 2 5 stars).

Would love it if Kongbo snubs them and heads to us, but I am not going to hold my breath on it.

They feel they are going to pull 4 kids out of Georgia on signing day, I think they are getting shut out of those 4, if signing day were today they would be.

They may grab some more solid recruits, but that isn't going to get them into the top 5-10 like they were the past two years. Again, I think they were extremely lucky the last two years with the amount of quality talent in the state of Tennessee that actually wanted to go to TN. To be fair, it is similar to UK this year being able to bring in Jackson, Young, and Daniels. If those guys are from another state then they aren't coming here.

Since Butch came back UT has had quite a few legacy kids enter the program too. Certainly not an entire roster, but 7-8 kids

Me dreaming:

This kid with Bonner (please stay!), our OLine commits, the additions of Hart, Love and Laster, along with Kash and the other commitments (add maybe Pringle and Johnson) and this class looks phenomenal to me at all levels.

I would say that state of TN has more 4* and 5* last couple of years than usual and TN parlayed that into very nice classes - but not near as many now - and they probably will be behind those 4* and 5* for couple of years - "Playing time soon - not a viable option"

Comes down to if he is looking to win big early and often or go to a situation where he will play a ton early and often and possibly be part of turning around a situation that would erupt if UK were to have a great season next year.

Talent like this is going to look mostly at who can get him to the NFL and at least Stoops, DJ, and JB have shown they can get guys at his position into the NFL. I am sure they are using Zadarius as case number 1. Same situation. Did not play much football in HS, went to JUCO, developed well at UK, playing in the NFL now.

Of those two possible reasons for coming to UK, I think the second is way more important to him than the expectation of the first happening. One player is rarely the difference.

If signing day was today Tenn gets Brown and Warrior. That's a fact.

He would be a great program changer. All it takes is one player of his caliber to come to start a possible trend of players wanting to join a program that can offer instant playing time and the ability to play in the best football conference.

Well it will be interesting to see if he can call plays, with his increased responsibilities this season

Don't know if he called plays in their bowl but their O, with a really good WR and a RS 5th year QB, really struggled.

It would be an absolute home run addition to the recruiting class. If and that's a big if, UK can keep the big pieces in the fold on signing day and these new coaches add value to the staff, I think some momentum will be gained after a terribly disappointing season last year.

But if the kid is looking at reality it's still like the Bama situation he will be fighting for playing time every year with the way USC recruits.
