all day long. Pretty obvious MJ has let them loose. The writers are pissed. Heck we all are. And they are on to something in the clubhouse. Sounds like the team is splintering right in front of us

Dammit Stoops get your ish together. Start with firing Dawson right now

he has made some relay bad hires on his Assnts,Oline was at Troy St,Dline was a Jr college coach,Def cord was a position coach,we see no improvement at very few positions,he must make some changes ,or next season will be worse than this year

That's what I've been mentioning in my posts since the Vandy fiasco. We have a problem with this scenario and this could be a disaster for UK football. As if things weren't already bad enough.

It is ridiculous to have a payout on a first time head coach of 18 mil. Especially one you give that to with a losing record. Now you are stuck. Can't fire them for performance only hope is they put you on probation. Now that's a hell of a position to be in.

Has anyone posted the nature or reason for the divide,I think Stoops' remarks on Matt Jones' show last week unwittingly gave away that there was a divide somewhere in the locker room(either among coaches or players,maybe both)

More evidence proving if Stoops does not turn this around, Mitch has to go with him or be taken completely away from all football operations. His hiring mistakes along with ridiculous extensions is financially devastating to this program.

Kentucky football continues to circle the toilet bowl. Often times, losing cultivates an environment of frustration, dissension, and chaos. UK football is currently experiencing a low point in the season.

Posted last night the people who actually know shot down the idea that Stoops had lost the locker room very quickly and even quoted that the players love him. People said the same thing last. And even said that once you lose the locker room that you never get it back. Yet we start strong again this year, which proves that wasn't true.

Stoops has a lot to fix, but I don't think it is rift in the locker room.

Merriman, give it up. It's obvious JR's source is someone associated with the team, whether it be the head coach, an assistant or director of operations. They aren't going to say anything but sunshine and roses. The team is a mess, most of the talented young players on offense can't stand Towles ineptness and the coaches willingness to continue to play him.

I fear how many players will transfer at the end of the season if we don't make it to a bowl. The 2014 class could fall apart a bit as well as some of the Fr who are redshirting. We need Stoops to beat some heads in order to get the respect back from the players. He needs to get angry

I don't think the indictment of KSR against the football team is fair. Freddie Maggard and Nick Roush have been unbiased yet optimistic for most of the tenure.

It was also KSR who helped brand the "we're just getting started bro" and create this pseudo swag for the staff. Using tag lines like we have the "look" of an SEC team now and creating pre game energy.

They've done their job. The fans have done their job. It's time for the staff to do theirs.

We all want the staff to succeed and understand the difficulties of the position. We don't have to make excuses for mismanagement.

The "recruiting is everything" culture at KSR is tangentially responsible for the football program's woes. Kentucky will never out-recruit 80% of their schedule, anyway. The only way UK competes is to be smarter and work harder than their foes. That means diligence in the weight room, film room and class room. That means learning how to block, tackle and execute in special teams. That doesn't mean building an offense around skill players who take plays off and are held to lower standards, on and off the field, than their peers.

Please. I would bet Brooks "lost" the locker room no less than three times during his tenure. new recruits/Morris players, Hudson, Pulley/Woodson, Cobb/Hartline, Newton/Fielder/Hartline. Losing creates issues. All it takes is a win or two and everyone gets happy again.

We got problems, a win over Charlotte is coming at a perfect time to start fixing them.

I think this locker room has been divided all season. Since the cheap shot to Barker and no reactions from teammates there. Not saying to fight 2 on 50, but at least help the guy up.

Few people I know around the team say many of the upperclassmen wanted Baker and the other player gone after they didn't even help Barker up.

Also have heard of a divide in the "bad" player Joker brought in and the "good" players Stoops has. Maybe they think those stars should mean more than they do.

If you've been through 35 years of this crap why stop now? One good thing you can say about UK football is that it never lets you done as long as you expect reality and skip the preseason banter. All that needs to be evaluated is our constant place at the lower end of the SEC recruiting food chain. Even when we do well we are there.

Not only are the players and coaches divided, the fans are too. There will be no cure for this sick team until Stoops grows a pair and face his hiring failures in the off season. Elliott has to be demoted, Scharlman has to be fired, I give Dawson a pass because Stoops has interfered with his play calling. A special teams coach must be hired and he must come from a Power Five Conference. AS far as the players, Stoops must demand more consistency from the starters and if they screw up they must be benched.

You can't play Florida a 5 point game, beat South Carolina and Missouri and then fall flat on your face 5 straight games and tell me that you are going back to work without recognizing what your sickness is.Stoops has to man up instead of asking his players to do the same.

Lol does anyone else here think this guys delusions are 2nd to none? Didn't stoops admit there was a divide amongst the team. STOOPS ADMITTED IT. Now just shut up Jesus man you don't bring anything to the concersation Because you don't speak any truths. 4-12 thru our last 16 games with zero quality wins. Suggest there's devide amongst the team. I don't think Jared Lorenzone would lie about that considering the man is Kentucky football! Again you've proven you know nothing!

If they go by bad play, they should hate each other. No one area of that football team hasn't played terrible at times.

I understand why everyone is mad but I still haven't thrown in the towel with Stoops. I think he will build UK into a winner if given time. I'm looking forward to Charlotte and watching Drew Barker develop.

UK football has struggled this season. It has not been a good 2015 season for UK football. Significant improvements must be implemented in order for UK to improve in football.
