First of all, we haven't had great tradition. Always sucked? 3 SEC titles, a share of a national title, and 14? bowl games? That's not just pitiful. And saying we can't win in the future because we've always sucked isn't telling the truth at all.

Who knew we had such a rich history , more than 100 years and 3 biggins . When was the last one won ? You've changed my mind , see lots of success going forward .

32 years ago there was talk of Louisville dropping football or moving to I-AA. Good thing for them there were some people with vision who wouldn't listen to the "realists".

Louisville has a completely different set of circumstances , just because fans obsess over them doesn't mean they were in the same situation .

That's being a realist and a far better fan than saying fire the AD and fire the coach when you know the buyout prevents it . Have I lied in saying UK has always sucked ? Is that telling the truth ? It has nothing to do with being a fan . As a fan I have posted today that I support Stoops until he gets fired , not act like a complete ***** and actively try to speed up his exit . UK football has well known impediments keeping it from success and it's doubtful those will ever be overcome , it's obvious and stating what will likely happen is not being a bad fan .

We've been much better than this, and we shouldn't have to accept total failure. 7-9 wins a season is not too much to ask for, and it's definitely attainable.

These past few games have been total train wrecks. I won't ever believe it can't be better than this. If that means we have to fire our AD and Coach, then I say do it. Do whatever it takes. The fans deserve it a better product. We are all tired of losing, and we're even more tired of the way we've been losing. What I watched today was some of the worst football I've ever seen.

I'm not saying we can't be better than right now but we aren't going to be what mist hope for . We are going to be around about what we have always been . A sub par program that has a few moments but mostly lackluster results . Other than what people see other programs transform into , which has a different set of circumstances , why would anyone think it can be fixed after a century of this . Im not telling you to stop hoping but to me UK fb is what it is until they show me otherwise . You can get mad on this board and demand stuff but it won't change anything .

I watch to see if they pull off the unusual but I'm not mad in the least if they don't , I got tired of letting a failed endeavor dictate how good my Saturday was going to be . Despite all of that there is a small glimmer of hope in that we have facilities , I don't know what that will do but it can't hurt . If Stoops fails next year then the next hire will determine UK fb for here and forever , if it doesn't happen then just close it down .

I mean I agree, he toes the company line. He's friends with those people, so it's probably hard. But I would have been really pissed off had he toed the line after tonight.

The fact that he went on the air, and blasted the AD and head football coach tonight made me feel a lot better. He was our voice tonight.

I hope others in UK media turn the fire up on Stoops and Mitch now since Jones did it. If the media jumps ship on Barnhart and Stoops we will see change quickly.
