If my math is right, that's 27 wins (and 84 losses) in 14 years. Or 32%.

Yeah. They $EC.

I've said for years that the only reason the $EC keeps uk and Vandy, is, in essence, it gives the FB schools one or two extra "OOC" games, while claiming to play in the "toughest" conference in America. Instead of 3 - 4 cupcakes a year, they get 4 or 5.

You can fool some of the people all of the time.

Man this brings back the nightmare that lasted four years under Steve Kragthorpe, Jurich's worst mistake as AD at Louisville.

Stevie Johnson with a dagger to the back!

More like Krags with a dagger to the front. I could have gotten open against the defensive schemes we regularly employed during his regime. Loved that the very next week we opened the Syracuse game (as 34-point favorites mind you) by giving up a long TD pass. It was only four games into the Steve Kragthorpe era, but that was the defining moment when you knew unequivocally that the guy had to be fired...but he got his three years anyway. What a waste! And yes, I'm still bitter as hell about all of it.

As horrific as Krags was, we were a blown coverage away from beating them in 07' and a Trent Guy muffed punt away from beating them in 08'. Probably better that we lost both though, as it probably hastened his demise.

Please no more UK nonsense. I hate them as well, and love pointing out just how bad they suck, but why obsess over them? Legitimately, they are completely irrelevant to us outside of the annual ***-whipping we lay on them.

Totally agree with the above post. The warning signs were out there but it was the Syracuse game that confirmed to me it was bad coaching, not bad luck.

In the "Stevie got loose" game we were in a straight Cover 2 when UK was faced with a 2nd and 25 at midfield with less than a minute on the clock. Play Cover 2 Man or Cover 3 safe. Hell, even Cover 1 with a blitz would be better. ANYTHING where there is not a "coverage decision" about who takes who. I just really can't think of anything much worse to play defensively given the down/distance/clock situation. I still get pissed just thinking about it.

Peace

The think is about the whole Kragthorpe family is that the families combined football coach record, is a losing record.

Well, he was Jurich's only mistake here. Jurich did the right thing and let him go.

Was Krapthorpe ever caught mugging with his players in a photo? That's sure one way we would have known he was bad news. Just ask Zipp.

I remember that Clemson win. CU suspended like, half their team for some violation, and they were playing with mostly backups.
Fighting with USC players. They had a riot!
IN the FSU game FSU suspended 14 players for cheating in classes.

Nope, wrong again. You came over here to respond to my post... And we know why you have so many posts. I wonder how many actually have merit or just an excuse to get in a dig at someone?

What did K-rag have to do with being in a picture with players or asking me about it?

That's obsession...

Looking at those records and putting them side by side, it would take an obliterated drunk not to connect the dots as to exactly what is UK's "Super Bowl" every single season they play, lol.

That would be us. Dam, the misery we inspire over there has to be legendary and absolutely epic.

The truly fun part is that their hilarious saltiness at their boards should evolve into near psychosis soon enough. Imagine stringing out a series of consecutive wins to match their former inadequacies with Tenn or their current erectile dysfunction with Florida.

When they cheated, they got nothing from it but probation. Now, when they play "watch me get the soap", they just hope no one else is paying attention. Their 946 APR you would think might make them a powerful force, lol. But in the end, all that bad scholarship achieves is exclusion from bowl games when they set it all up just for them.

See they are hedging their bets on The UK site. Apparently Stoops needs one more year to be able to compete with a roster of his players . 2017 is now the target year.

Stoops incredible laissez-faire attitude about the importance of the QB spot is almost stunningly ignorant. He should have produced a herd of prospects until they found one, from the very first season. Now he is really in the shltter.
