As usual, a great OU player will go to a team I care nothing about....or dislike.
If I liked NFL football I'd care. Maybe.Hey everybody roots for the underdog Cleveland Browns.
Baker is turning them around.

I am referring to heigths of 5"10" or less.....not 5'11" or 6'0".I don't think anyone believes Drew Brees is 6'0".
There's a guy in Seattle that is listed at 5'11", and I hear he may have won a Super Bowl at some point in time.
Murray has a huge challenge playing in the NFL, at least from an historical prospective.
How many QB's 5'10" or shorter have had meaningful success....championship success....in pro football ?
My answer to that is there's never been a 5'10" (or perhaps 5'9") talent like Murray to have ever played in the NFL. Doug Flutie at 5'10" is the last "short" QB I recall to have had success, but he did not have Murray's level of overall talent, and no team he ever played for was championship worthy.
Not many....but Murray's talent is so far off the charts, I don't see his size as relevant. How many have been given a chance? The game has changed and so must the paradigm.
KW should leverage the NFL interest to up the ante from the As in guaranteed money...say $30M or so.
Has that not been addressed, here? I got the idea that there is a Cap on Rookie Contracts, and they couldn't up their ante...Anyone?I thought he tried that by going to the A's to let them know he was considering the NFL, but the A's did not bite, so Kyler chose enter the draft.
I don't think there is rookie salary cap in MLB. NFL, yes. MLB has a completely separate "guaranteed money" base also. I was a bit unclear. I meant Kyler should bait the NFL to get more money out of the As. As I understand, the As indicated to KW's agent that they were open for discussion on revised terms of his contract.Has that not been addressed, here?
