Damn, he looks about 190 tops. Was he soaking wet with rocks in his pockets when they weighed him??He just finished his NFL Combine weigh in

I still can't believe he turned down a guaranteed $5 million to play baseball.
Let's say kyler goes 20th. The 20th pick in last year's draft signed a 4 year contract for 11.7 million with a 6.6 mil signing bonus. All base money is guaranteed. Add in endorsement money and he is way ahead financially in the NFL.
Murray's nearly a foot too short to get drafted by Elway. Plus, he plays football. As a Broncos fan If I’m John Elway, I’m doing everything I can to move up and get him...will be interesting to see what Arizona & Klings do with the first pick though
Thought this was really interesting, great article:

He is going to be a disaster as a QB in the NFL. If I really needed a QB, like I didn't have one on my roster, I'd take a flyer on him in the 4th round.
Give him a chance to play QB, if he is willing to play the slot, he's worth a 1st round pick with that speed and elusiveness.
The NFL front offices are filled with guys who know QBs (and those who think they do). Two of the best are Doug Pederson and Andy Reid. They already bagged their franchise QBs. We'll see what the rest of the league thinks.
10 of 21 GM’s polled said they would take Murray as the top quarterback in the draft. 10 more said they would take Haskins from Ohio State and one said Lock from Missouri.
Not necessarily directed at you, but there is a reason we are talking about this on a message board and not GMs as a career.
Plus it’s easier to say someone will be a bust, the odds are in your favor. You only have 32 starting QBs in the league, more will not succeed than do.
Nonsense. The league has been riddled with first round busts that are just as athletic and many more so that actually that played the slot in college. Complete waste of a first round pick if he cant make it as a qb.
And he will get way more endorsement cash by being in the NFL than he will baseball...most baseball players are lucky if they get a gig doing ads for a local car dealership.
That's the same as Sam Bradford's and Bradford is a fumble machine.But Murray's hand measured 9 1/2

An he plays way less games 20 counting pre season in NFL and over 190 in baseball counting pre season ..... he is smart to pick football - although he could play baseball until his mid to late 30's if he stays in shape and makes it into the bigs .....Let's say kyler goes 20th. I remember a Trev Alberts combine prep story where he would go tanning late at night to look more attractive to the scouts rather than pasty white. One of the sports radio shows had a guy on who talked about getting inverted and stretching out his vertebrae before the combine or height measurement.
He was a center, like 5-11 or so, stretched-out to 6'1ish for the combine.
Pretty hilarious true story.
Long-story "short" Murray isn't 5'10
