Rumor has it that Coach Bedwell is stepping down as the Head Coach at Bird to take the OC position at Virginia State.
Has anyone heard?

5A and Dominion District fans, coaches and players will have to contend with Bird and Bedwell for years to come. To clear this rumor up, he apparently was offered a position with a college but he turned it down. So count on Bird and Bedwell to be in the thick of things again next season as they pursue a fourth straight state title.
