I watched the game from last year where we beat the UL squad and this team is much much deeper. A little concerned about the bigs but this team is much more talented than the other teams I’ve watched and I watched several of them yesterday. I really enjoy watching the UK team.

Was Montrez Harrell on last year’s squad? He made the UL group look good yesterday.

I still think LaFamilia should only be old UK players though..
Given how long it took to get the team assembled, I think it was difficult to get only former UK players. I'm not sure if it has to do with contracts/scheduling with professional teams or just disinterest from players.

Also, last year there were several UK guys on the team that were pretty much non-factors (Daniel Orton, Brennan Canada, and James Young). From what I saw on Friday, this team doesn't have that problem.

Crazy that James Young was a non factor, they must not play much anymore.

Kanter played a ton last year and didn't play much in game 1. That's a good think IMO.
