Looking at it in TV it looks like LA brought hardly any fans, their side doesn't even look crowded. Hopefully late arriving crowd.

Looks to me like the visitor stands are full with some folks standing on stairs.

The visitor stands only seat about 500 they are tiny.

GBW is shooting themselves in the foot with penalties and still only down 7. LA should have kicked the fg and gone up 10.

Put Gronk in the back field. Don't get cute. LA is pushing them around.

First you said the visitor stands weren't crowded. They are. Now you claim the stands are tiny after being informed that they are full. *roll eyes*

I said their side not thier stands reread my original post. Regardless LA should have put GBW down by 10 in the first quarter and didn't now the underdog has the momentum.

Just tuned in. Love watching HS football on TV.
If I had to choose between an NFL game and NCAA game - NCAA wins.
If I had to choose between an NCAA game and HS game - HS wins.
And so I turn off Ohio State vs. Michigan State to watch LA @ GBW.

LA has a great offensive line. I gotta imagine GBW will double #14 in the second half.

14-7 at half. LA over GBW. Great picture on Comcast sports net (channel 37 for me on Comcast and channel 200 in high def).

LA is really impressive. They are playing better defensively than they were earlier in the year. And, as has been said, the O-line is dominant. Marwede is obviously a beast, but I was really impressed with Herrion's play after going through protocol last week. GBW is just outclassed in this game. Too much size, discipline and talent for the Hitters.

Not out classed. Bad choice of words pjjp. I know you didn't mean it that way.

Not sure how you took it. Meant LA is just too good. I don't think they have quite the speed they had on defense as last year, but that's splitting hairs. No discernible weakness on this Rambler team.

When was the last time the Hitters D gave up 42 points? Has it happened in the Hetlet era?

I don't like rematches - does the IHSA have the power to make a switcheroo and Loyola plays ESL and Maine South plays Prarie Ridge?;)

There are plenty of us CCL people that believe the following:

There are two types of athletes -

- those that are humble; and

- those about to be humbled.

Hats off to GBW. Those Hitters can hit!
Sounds very familiar...Well said!!!!

LA is the best HS football team that I've seen this season. Congrats to them, their fans, and best wishes next weekend. Well done guys!

Coach John H. knows what's he's talking about. Sounds like a coach John H. I got the privilege to play for.
Exactly...and our priorities were always
1. God
2. Family (school responsibilities included)
3. Loyola Football

Putting those 1st would always lead you in the right direction.

Great man.

O line was impressive. 77 was as good as any lineman I've seen all year.
