I can think of no more courageous or deserving athlete this year than the late #LaurenHill - should have been Arthur Ashe recipient IMO

Lauren Hill would be a great choice.

Amy VanDyken would be a good choice also.

Espn decided to say the hell with all the real athletes and bring the Kardashian circus to town.

Not saying that Bruce wasn't a real athlete but he had his time in the spotlight recieving all the accolades and recognition possible for his accomplishments.

Bruce is not in the sports world any longer. He's in the reality entertainment business and has no business recieving an ESPY.

Maybe ESPN can get Seacreast to host.

Bottom line, "Bruce" is no better than Kris, Kim, and Khole. All Hollywood attention whores/nutcases.

ESPN lost the small amount of credibility they had left with me. Embarrassed for them, but not shocking in the day and times we live in. Just a horrible decision, but this is coming from a media outlet who has done everything to hide the UNC academic scandal because their President is a UNC alum.
