Ole Miss with 8 offensive rebounds in 1st qtr alone. UK will get in foul trouble if they keep letting OM get it underneath.

Good 1st half for the Cats. Holding the 6 point lead after Amoore went out was great. Their quickness is giving us some trouble but our size in the front court allows to make up for a lot of the times we get beat off the dribble.

Brooks should have taken a time out before OM went on their run. OM put their best taller player on Amore and Amore can’t shake her. OM has 21 offensive rebounds. No one in UK playing very well except Strack and Key.

We have been out hustled the whole game, if we lose it’s because of rebounding and we have also let them get where they want we they have the ball.

Amore having a bad game. Forcing shot when they’re not there. Ole Miss is letting Strack shoot all the threes she wants because she’s not hitting them. We need to get Lawrence some open looks.

Hasset has been a no show tonight, no scoring or rebounding. If you are 6 foot three, you have to play like it.

Strack is going to be great here over her career.
She’s amazing, and I hope we get her some help next year since Amore will be gone. I think one of the players out with injury this year (Paurova?) is supposed to be pretty good, and Kaelyn Carroll from up east will be very good. And Key will be back.

Hassett is good three point shooter but that’s about it. She’s just soft with the ball. Ole Miss just out-toughing us.

Game over! To many offensive rebounds, you can’t allow that and win, especially on the road.
It’s basically Strack and Key the only rebounders for UK. Ole Miss sending everyone to the boards and pummeling UK with getting rebounds. Hassett has been MIA as well as Silva and Lawrence. Oh well, on to Texas on Thursday night.

Too quick and athletic for us tonight. We couldn't get open shots in the 2nd half. Their athletes beat our bigs with speed on the boards.

What gets me is that despite our inability to rebound we led for most of the game. But if you can’t rebound you will lose.😡

Strack with 8 blocks. That’s the good news. The bad news is that Ole Miss continually got the ball underneath and just kept shooting and rebounding until it went in. We need more toughness in the rebounding area.

Didn't watch the game, but how does a team with so much size in UK only have only 4 FT attempts compared to 21 from Ole Miss?
Road game, home team is allowed to play more aggressive. They did out hustle us the whole game but was allowed to reach and grab all night too.

The women's team is much like the men, give up too many offensive rebounds, get stripped too often, have to make a BUNCH of shots to beat athletic teams and aren't physical enough against big teams.

They have had a great season so far playing in the toughest league in the country for women. 18-3 is an AWESOME record and they can still do so much more!!!!

Killed us on the offensive boards and at the free throw line. Ole Miss did not look very good, just play physical and hard. And we did not shoot the three good at all. What is wrong with Hassett? Hardly know she is out there. She is the one that has taken us down some. No rebounding or scoring like she did the first half of the season. She needs to be the rough neck inside for us.

Ole Miss is pretty good- and they needed a win after being so close a few times- they played like it too-
They lost to texas by 3 - held them to 62 -- texas just beat south carolina
They lost to USC by 3 - who has the most athletic player in the country-

In other words, yea they don't shoot it well but they are known for their defense and energy. Kentucky really had all momentum but could not get Georgia or Dazia going- size probably played a factor for Ole Miss- Georgia had 6'2 guarding her/

Very proud of Coach Brooks and the ladies for having a great season so far, the HUGE game coming up against Texas. Wow ! This has been a season to refresh and renew Kentucky basketball in all areas for me !

Loving basketball and Kentucky, it is so sweet to have each and every game something to be looked forward to !

Bounce back from a tough Oxford trip for both our teams, and beat the Longhorns!

Go Big Blue !
