And now Lewis has broken the record, 58 career home runs, 14 to nothing and still batting in the bottom of the fourth
Run rule 14-2 CATS.Danielle Williams only pitched 4 innings.Just a nice stress free game.The lady Cats are something else this year.If Boyd or Dvorak can step up look out.
I followed it on-line while watching the Heritage golf on T.V. Supple, who hasn't pitched much, finished up for Danielle and gave up a couple of runs. Otherwise, the game was a ridiculous joke. Purdue used at least 3 pitchers, none of whom was any good. Danielle could pitch everyday if she had to, but it's nice to get her some rest from time to time. The day of the double header against OSU, their starter pitched both games. but that's not ideal
A week ago or so Kate Drohan said in an interview that she wants to pitch Danielle every other game......
Sure, that's what every coach would like to do with an ace, but it's not always possible.
