This is a bummer for him. Really hate to see pro athletes make bad business deals. He made $61 M in NBA salary (of course, cut that in half and that's about the actual take home - still, an absolutely insane amount of money). Too bad he could not have used that wisely. So many fall into so many different traps this way.

All those loans to make big deals ... just too much greed in this world and it hits everyone.

Youngman you are 100 percent correct about the greed. Laettner was already a rich man but wanted much more I guess. Everyone wants more, more and then some more. I hope he can recover and not have to file for bankruptcy.

Yeah I've heard before he made some bad deals. Sad. I hope he ultimately gets in to a comfortable and secure place to live his life.
