Don't know how many of you all saw the segment. Jackson got it for not wearing any socks at the Heisman Trophy ceremony.

Yeah I thought that was tacky as well. Show some respect for the event you are at. He clearly had respect, but that was something simple he goofed on.

That's the way they roll, I remember one time went I went to the Derby Classic in Freedom Hall in the 80's, Louisville's players were there in sweaty sweats and Some of Kentucky's players were there dressed really nice. That's the difference like I always say, Kentucky has class, Louisville not so much. As far as Jackson I think he deserved the Heisman, but no socks, TACKY.

FYI he was wearing some very expensive "monster eye loafers". You don't wear socks with loafers. That being said, I wouldn't wear loafers with a suit LOL. But hey, I'm 50 not 19. I shake my head all the time at what the youth today are wearing.

He seemed to go after some of Cam Newton's look. I don't believe Cam wears socks either.

Don't worry. He'll be able to buy the finest of attire that anyone can afford someday. For now? He's just a kid that doesn't realize these details. Petrino needs to get a committee to instruct the kids on interfacing with the media.

We're criticizing a kid for no socks? Is the outrageously expensive garb he had on otherwise just unacceptable? Good Lord, people.

Even more funny someone mentioning some thing that happened in the 80s and now this to make his life comparison.

The kid didn't wear socks. Not earth shattering new on our board. I'd be happy if we never talked about him again.

Obviously it was noticed by ESPN, chill out, it's not the worst thing in the world and people are just commenting on it. I bet if you go out in loafers in December without socks it would be noticed too. It's kind of funny, just pointing out things haven't changed much from the class stand point in Louisville.

Well we play him next year so I doubt that happens.

I'm sure you talk about him all the time on the UL Board.

where did he get the $$$$$$ for that red clown suit...
The schools are allowed to give the players up to a certain amount should they need clothes for the award shows. Just like they are able to pay for getting the players to and from the award shows.

Its a millennial fashion thing. No socks and shorts pants. I see it on young bankers in Charlotte all the time.
